Vintage 1940 Louis Marx Popeye The Pilot Eccentric Airplane Tin Litho WindUp Toy. Here you will see on of the very popular cartoon characters, POPEYE, flying the Aeroplane. This toy and everything else I have listed, comes from my "PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST " collection.

This particular toy has excellent lithography which is very bright. There are two issues with this plane though. Both I have circled to show you. The left side has some scratches alongside and the other is the right wing has a small dent in it.

Otherwise, this toy shows beautifully and with this high quality reproduction box along side of it, makes a great conversation piece. It also works as it should with crazy back and forth motions after it is wound up and placed on the ground. I try to include a variety of brightly lit, clearly focused pictures from multiple angles in my listings.
