From my own personal vault of collecting for over 15 years, the golden standard for sunglasses - THE GENERAL! Made even more famous when worn by George Michael (RIP) during the Faith era and tour, these are modeled after General Douglas MacArthur, and commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ray Ban (under Bausch & Lomb ownership at the time). The lenses and view are incredible through the highly-regarded RB-50 lenses, which are mirrored and have changeable properties based on light conditions. The frame is the gold Bravura, the thickest, strongest, and most impressive frame ever made by the company.
Onto condition - these are close to mint and are pristine throughout, with the lone exception being that the brow-bar has some minor oxidation. For a pair that's over 35 years old, this is an incredible offering! No lens scratches, defects, nicks, scuffs, or anything that would make you lose interest based on condition - same applies to the frame and temples. Screws and hinges are tight and in tact.
Also includes the original matching cowhide leather case in excellent condition. If this applies to you, please reach out and we can discuss based on feedback history.
